I agree with other reviewers that the velcro closure and its contact with the tongue of the shoe make closing these awkward, but they are sturdy, priced well, and they open WIDE for going on squirmy toddler feet! I'd buy them again.

Shoe was very very light. The strap was akward - hard to describe. Very thin material and sole, almost like a sandal or flip flop.

Very durable- they are holding up well 4 months in; and comfortable. No complaints from the toddler. Nice color, easy on and off.

These shoes are really cute, and fit my boy great. But the velcro on the straps sticks to the tongue of the shoe. That makes it hard to fasten them because you have to take the time to tuck the tongue in while you're trying to fasten the straps -- which takes some doing sometimes, especially with a squirming toddler.

My 3-year-old loves his new tennis shoes! He can put them on himself, although the velcro on the tongue of the shoe can make it difficult for him to get the tongue tucked into the sides.
They are adorable and he says they are super comfy on his fat little feet! (He wears a D width.)
