The shoe feels like a nice snugly fit. It feels great for short walks but there's one issue:
Beware the back heel strap. There's a little rectangle of fabric on the heel strap that can rub and cause blisters. I'm trying to figure out how to cover that piece up so that I don't end up wearing bandaids all summer. I can't wear these for lengthy sport activity if I cannot fix what is causing the abrasion.

I love these shoes. They fit snugly, so even though you are wearing a sandal, you still feel all of the protection of a hiking shoe. I feel like I could walk forever in these.

I read a review for a different style of Ahnu in my Fitness magazine. I ordered the Tilden II for our April cruise. We had shore excursions that needed hiking shoes, as well as water shoes. These were perfect! They are very lightweight, and although tricky to get onto your foot, you can wear them all day in comfort. I wore thin black socks with them on the plane, and you could not even really tell they were sandals. They are worth the price and I would recommend them to others.

Great for narrow feet Oct 03, 2008
I have very narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit right. These adjusted quite well so my feet didn't slip and slide around in them. I bought these for a trip to Hawaii where I hiked and swam and they were great. So glad I bought them.
